Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes is no ordinary tour. Celebrating our 15th anniversary, Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes is a world renowned experience that connects visitors with the Hollywood they imagine. Visit movie locations that stared A-List Celebrities (Julia Roberts, Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, MarkWahlberg, Charlize Theron, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and more), visit legendary movie palaces, find your favorite Celebrity’s star as we walk the Walk of Fame, view the Hollywood Sign, and visit celebrities’ favorite hidden hideaways. Go inside places normally closed to the public. Place your feet onto your favorite celebrity’s footprints at the Chinese theater. Walk the footsteps of the Movie Stars when you visit Awards Walk, home to the Academy Awards. This tour changes your Hollywood visit from ordinary to extra-ordinary!

Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes goes at a normal walking pace. We tell people that if you can walk the length of a shopping mall you can easily walk our tours.
We get this question all the time! Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes is a walking tour. We do, however, offer several Value Programs that bus tours with some of our partners. See our Value Packages menu for some ideas on tours that are conducted by bus.
We are a walking tour therefore we do not own vehicles. You will need to make your own way to our box office.

Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes is offered at 10am, noon, 2pm and 4pm daily except Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day of the Academy Awards (usually a Sunday)
We offer discounts through AAA, AARP members, KCRW Fringe Benefits Program, Cruise LA, and LA Inc. the Convention & Visitors Bureau. Please also inquire about discounts for LA residents.
Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes does not require a reservation. If you purchase your tickets online, or if you have purchased a Go Los Angeles Card or CityPASS, you are guaranteed the time slot for your purchase.
No. All sales are final except in the case we cancel a tour for severe weather.
Generally yes. However we are at the effect of the city, its sidewalks, weather and terrain. Some buildings we go into are older and require some maneuvering to get through their ADA access routes. One should note that the pace of our tours cannot be slowed as we are bound to time constraints. If you or a member of your group has a handicap it would be best to speak with a member of the Red Line Tours staff before you decide to take the tour.
Timed admission entry for Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes is offered in English only at this time. Through the use of our “Live Audio” system we can offer group tours of 20 or more in other languages with your interpreter. From time to time we do have guides on staff who can offer group tours for 20 or more persons in foreign languages. Call us for more information on group tours in other languages.
Tours are conducted rain or shine, however we will offer a rain check for another date in case of heavy rain.
See Hours, Directions & Parking Info. Parking is at your own discretion. Hollywood & Highland Shopping Center has underground parking and there are several nearby parking lots. Rates vary greatly depending on the location and because rates change on a daily basis we cannot suggest what parking might cost for a particular lot. Parking does range between $5 and $20 for the day depending on where you park. There are plenty of affordable options.
