Covid-19 & Customer Safety

Following are our protocols.

Your health and safety are our primary concern as our customer and a visitor to Los Angeles. At check-in all surfaces will be continually sanitized.

Our tours require the use of an audio receiver and headset,   The listening equipment is also important in giving you critical instructions in addition to the tour information.  You can use your own earphones if you have them or we will provide a set of disposable earphones.

Our tours are primarily conducted outdoors.  At this time masks are not required by Los Angeles County Health Department, however, we ask that those who have not been vaccinated please wear a mask.

We will continually update all protocols as deemed necessary and as instructed by the Los Angeles County Heath Department and the CDC.

Plan Your Virtual Visit

Our virtual tours were created not as a response to the pandemic but as an expansion of options for you to experience Los Angeles at any time from any place.  Some options allow you to try it before you buy it at minimal cost.  Essentially a “test drive” of our public tours.   If you are planning a trip to Los Angeles and are weighing your options our virtual tours can help you decide what experience best fits your interest.  Our virtual experiences also help you to know before you go by offering valuable information about  activities and food options available in a specific neighborhood.

Our virtual tours are hosted on a platform called BigMarker which is similar to Zoom.  You do not need to install any software to purchase or view our virtual tours.  Once you purchase a tour you will be sent a link via email which will launch the platform.  Its as easy as that.

At the launch of our virtual tours in February 2021 we will offer tours in English however check back often because we plan to continually add new languages including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Punjabi, Mandarin, Cantonese and more!

Live virtual tours will broadcast live from Los Angeles in the Pacific Time Zone.  With so many time zones, we realize this may not be convenient to everyone around the globe so we will also offer tours “live to tape” and “on demand.”   This means that you have a choice.  You can either participate in one of our tours with a live guide in the Pacific Time Zone, or that session will be recorded and you can participate in that tour at any time, at your convenience in your time zone with some of the same interactive features as the live tour.  Some of the interactive features include polls and Q&A.

Our virtual tours have a cinematic quality to them.  They are FILMED from your point of view.   You will navigate through streets and buildings and will be offered an experience that feels very much like being there in real life.  We do not do “screen shares” or slide shows.  Our goal is to recreate as close as possible the experience of actually being there.  We do embellish the experience with maps, film clips and photos like we do when you experience the tour in person.

Our virtual tours are approximately 60 minutes long.   We aim for about 45 minutes of touring and 15 minutes of interaction with the tour guide in between segments.

Plan Your In-Person Visit

Our walk-in experiences offered on a timed admission basis to the general public are temporarily suspended until 2022 or when international travel normalizes.  Until then please see more information about our virtual experiences, VIP experiences, group experiences, and self guided experiences.

Testimonials

  • Armond was awesome! We learned so much trivia and laughed a lot. We did a studio tour after the Hollywood Behind the Scenes tour, and Armond and company were far better! Great experience for a great price.

  • Our tour was excellent. It is a bit crowded on the streets, and you move quickly. So, if you are traveling with younger kids. have a plan ahead of time.

  • We’ve been to this are several times in the past but decided to try this walking tour. It made things so much more interesting than just walking ourselves! A good insiders look.
