Inspired by the elegance of a European opera house, with state-of-the-art technical capabilities, the Dolby Theatre has hosted the world’s top performers. Celine Dion, Prince, Dixie Chicks, American Ballet Theatre, Barry Manilow and the Moscow Stanislavsky Ballet have all performed on this stage!
The center of the five-level Dolby Theater is a grandiose spiral staircase with cherrywood balustrades, standing beneath an impressive silvery dome. As you take your Dolby Theater Tour, you will learn that design elements of the lobby were inspired by Michelangelo’s Campodiglio in Rome.
Twenty-six images of famous Oscar winners, including Jack Nicholson, Marlon Brando, Julia Roberts, and Grace Kelly are permanently displayed across four lobby levels.
