Box Office Hours
Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes departs daily and promptly at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Our Box Office opens for check-in 30 minutes prior to each departure time.
Please note the following:
- Please allow for traffic and parking when planning your arrival. If you are arriving from areas outside of LA County including Anaheim and San Diego traffic is a major consideration in timing your arrival.
- Tours operate on a strict time schedule and must start on time. Our guides must have a 30 minute break in between tours. For these reasons persons arriving late may not be admitted. If you arrive late you may be admitted to the next tour time provided there is availability.
- During low season our tour guides double as Box Office attendants, the Box Office opens 30 minutes prior to each departure time, and the Box Office closes when guides are running tours.
Parking is at your own discretion at Hollywood & Highland Shopping Center and at nearby parking lots. We do not validate for parking at Hollywood & Highland but the Los Angeles Visitors Center does offer validations. Rates for surface parking lots throughout the area vary greatly depending on the location and time of day. For information on parking lots in the Hollywood area follow this link to Best Parking which will offer rates and locations for parking throughout Hollywood and Los Angeles. See below for more information about Best Parking.
BestParking.com offers a complete and up-to-date information on where to park in several Los Angeles neighborhoods. Simply go to their website by clicking here: www.losangeles.bestparking.com. Once you get into the site make sure the “location” is correct in the menu bar on the left – so if you are looking for parking in Hollywood then choose Hollywood from the drop down menu. A map of the area with parking lots and the average cost for each lot will appear. Click on the yellow, orange or red icon for more information as well as a photo of the parking lot so that its easier to identify it once you arrive. The yellow icons offer the most cost effective options. There are plenty of lots that are $5 and $8 for the ENTIRE DAY (usually no in and out privileges). There is NO FREE PARKING in Hollywood! Do the math! — As of this writing, city owned parking meters are $2.00/hour and you cannot hold a parking space for more than 2 hours. If you do you will get a ticket. A parking ticket in Hollywood is approximately $70. So unless you are absolutely sure you will be parking for a very short amount of time don’t even think about parking at a meter. Just pay the $5 or $8 and parking in a parking lot.
Hollywood & Highland Metro Station. As you exit the station we’re to the left, east of Highland Ave. and on the south side of the street.
